Building miniature sets for The Quiet Way
I’m working on a play called “The Quiet Way” by Casey Llewellyn in NYC, making miniature sets to be shot for live video sequences in the show with puppeteers. It’s an ambitious project and I think the end result will be amazing! Here are some pictures of the sets that photographer Justin Nunnink took recently:
Performing in Women Rock! at Boston University
Howdy,
I’ll be performing a handful of songs off my concept album “Pilgrim: A Transformation Myth” tomorrow evening at Women Rock!, an event at Boston University. The proceeds go towards building homes for women in Haiti. I’ll be performing my set at 7:30 with 8 other singers and musicians backing me up. It’ll be a good time! Singing for the fabulous Luke Janela
I recently had the pleasure of singing backup vocals and harmonies on three tracks off of Luke Janela’s upcoming EP, “Tomorow Was.” The songs are so passionate and full of life. It is always an honor to collaborate with Luke–the musician extraordinaire who played cello on eight tracks of my album, Pilgrim. He is a truly talented dude. To check out Luke’s work, go to www.midnightdoor.com, and stay tuned for “Tomorrow Was”!

PILGRIM release show
My friends Erinn Clancy and Justin Nunnink have a production team called Shot and Cut. They came up from NYC and took photos/filmed the performance of my show, PILGRIM. They took some of the photos/video still and made some really cool collaged images that I am now in love with.
illustrations for projections at my cd release party.
I’m having a performance of the concept album I recently completed called “Pilgrim: A Transformation Myth,” on Saturday, February 12th in Boston. Fifteen musicians will be involved, playing the music in a cardboard forest, surrounded by lantens and projected images. It’s going to me a magical time! Here are a couple of illustrations for the story’s narration.
